Knowing your limits

One important thing about creating lesson plans is to make sure they are appropriate for the grade level you are teaching. A kindergartner is not going to know how to solve something like (9-4_10-(6-1)) were as a third grader would because that is there level of math. An example of an appropriate problem for kindergartners would be to have a picture of ten flowers and ask them to count how many flowers are there.
